With his latest mixtape, “Colors,” YoungBoy is poised for a solid chart debut.
The concept of comparing musicians based on their popularity and sales data has become a fad among mainstream music lovers. Following Gunna’s stunning victory against The Weeknd in first and second-week sales earlier this month, it appears that DS4EVER will outlast Dawn FM once more, as the album will win the race for the third week in a row.
With over 69,000 first-week sales projected on his new mixtape, Colors, Baton Rouge-based artist YoungBoy Never Broke Again is looking comfortable at #3 on the album charts this week. Approximately 1,600 of those numbers are pure sales. Following the release of a few singles, including “Bring The Hook” and “Know What I Know,” in which he disses O-Block and throws subliminals at Lil Durk and NLE Choppa, the project received a lot of attention. Despite his strong start, Gunna is expected to maintain his position at #2 with just over 2,000 additional sales.

Disney’s Encanto soundtrack remains in first place next week, with two songs in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10.
The Weeknd will be at #4 with 47,000 estimated sales in next week’s top ten albums. The Highlights, another of his albums, is at #7 with 32,600 sales. With 200 fewer sales, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy falls one spot. Doja Cat comes in at #9, and Meat Loaf makes a comeback with Bat Out Of Hell.
